Panache Cruises to spearhead US Growth Expansion through Traveltek Technology Partnership
Following Panache Cruises’ launch in the US in late July, the luxury and ultra-luxury cruise retailer is continuing to spearhead its ambitious US growth expansion strategy, through its appointment of travel technology partner, Traveltek.
Panache Cruises launched its US operation with Traveltek’s Cruise API and was quick to see success with a $124k booking made just days after its US site went live.
The business is currently in the process of rolling out a major digital marketing and PR campaign across the US, with an initial offering of sailings from cruise lines such as Regent Seven Seas, Silversea, Seabourn, Explora Journeys, Oceania Cruises and Azamara.
Traveltek, who has 25 years of experience in supporting leisure travel businesses invest in their technology, also continues to see enormous success in growing its North American footprint within the Cruise technology sector.
Traveltek’s CEO Mal Barritt said “We have admired the tenacity and drive by Panache Cruises and can see potential in the luxury cruise industry. Therefore, we are delighted that Panache Cruises has chosen to partner with Traveltek to unlock new opportunities in this market. On a personal note, it’s fantastic to be working again with James Cole, CEO of Panache Cruises, following the huge success we both enjoyed together owning our cruise travel agency back in 2008”.
Founder and CEO of Panache Cruises, James Cole said this decision to appoint Traveltek was an easy one for him. He added: “After successfully establishing Panache Cruises in the UK, we believe it’s a perfect time for us to enter the US. America is a nation of ‘luxury’ and ‘cruise lovers’ and we believe that this market is fundamentally ripe for growth. Having watched the innovation and US focus from Traveltek over the last few years, I have every confidence that this partnership will help us achieve the ambitious goals we have set ourselves in this vast and important cruise market.
“It’s great to be working with Mal again and his wider team at Traveltek. We go back a long way and his extensive knowledge of the cruise sector and his experience in tech makes it a perfect partnership for us”.
